"I'd always enjoyed designing t-shirts in my free time but wanted to create something more unique through a handmade process. I'd loved the look and feel of linocut for years and World Hug became the bridge connecting my art and fashion." - Alex, designer and founder of World Hug.

World Hug began as a celebration of life between friends. Whether at the beach, bushwalking, or standing at a beautiful lookout, I naturally spread my arms to embrace the world and feel the sun's warmth. In those moments, "WORLD HUG" was born.

Every printed design is carved and stamped by hand in house. Each piece is treated like an artwork showcasing the unique imperfections texture of the print, not just any old logo on a t-shirt. That personal touch from the artist creates a closer connection with the wearer.

We deeply value unique, quality pieces. We strive to maintain high standards while staying sustainable. The stamps we use to print each piece are made from hand-carved linoleum tiles, which are beautiful artworks in themselves. Lino is a natural resource made from linseed oil, wood flour, cork dust, and pine resin, all held together with a natural jute-fibre backing.

It's all about being in nature. Hiking, bushwalking, swimming, and surfing embody our lifestyle. Not only about being in nature but spending time with family, going to concerts and experiencing life in the world together.
